The Peace That Surpasses

Philippians 4:7
KJV: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
ESV: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
NIV: And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
AMP: And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

“The Peace of God!” (Greek: eirēnē theou)

What is the peace of God?

The Amplified version gives us a very good meaning of the peace of God. “The Peace of God can be defined as that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ.” In this state of mind one fears nothing from God (i.e. not unnecessarily afraid of things like hell or punishment from God. Simply loving Him.) And is content.
This peace is beyond the human understanding.

“How Can One Have Access to This Peace?”

That peace that surpasses all understanding can be found only in Christ Jesus.
’ NIV: And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus’
He says we should cast our cares upon Him for He cares for us.
1Peter 5:7 KJV: Casting all your care upon him for He careth for you.
He says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” [Matthew 11:28]

This is a wonderful mystery in the word.
As long as I am in in Christ Jesus, I can enjoy that tranquil state of mind and I can be assured of my salvation through Christ.

What does it mean for one to be tranquil?

It means to be free from emotional or mental disturbance. It means to be calm.
In Christ Jesus I’m free from any emotional or mental disturbance. And as long as I stay in Him, I can be sure of my salvation. I don’t have to be scared of hell or of sin or the wrath of God. All I need to do is to stay in Him.

THE ROAD TO SUCCESS

The road to success is dotted with many parking spaces. Some time extremely good looking and compelling enough to cause the traveler to reconsider and give parking a try. However, those parking spaces usually are distractions, exciting offers, salivating deals that cause us to want to compromise as long as it is promising to bring quick and easy success. Most travelers are caught up in these traps and end up forfeiting their success journey and goals for an easy means not realizing that they have just settled for less and forfeited their real success pursuit.
One who is geared towards attaining true success must understand that it’ll take more than a short drive and must be determined to see to the end of the success journey no matter how captivating the parking spaces along the way appear. The truly successful ones are those who ignore the easy way out for the true way out they believe in no matter the opposition and difficulties encountered along the way. They are those who kept on moving, even when the car engine failed, even when their feet burned, they crawled. They are those who didn’t stop moving until they got to the Promised Land.
They are tiny consistent drops of water that consistently dropped until they formed an ocean. They are those who even history cannot but reckon. Haven travelled the road and reached success.

My definition of pretty is not the amount of makeup on your face or your skill in applying it,  it is not the dress you wear or the shoes you wear, It is not your hair do or endowment.
My definition of beautiful is: The lady that can say I am the prettiest girl on earth without thinking what that guy thinks. Either she wears makeup or not. Either she wears a heel or not.
Many ladies these days never believe they are pretty until they do what I call TEMPORARY PLASTIC SURGERY.
The girl that mesmerizes me most is that lady that can walk confidently out of her house without makeup. I don’t really care how your face looks but once you can do that, it means you appreciate the work my father did on you and that makes me admire you.
My Father didn’t make a mistake when he was creating you. There is a reason you were created that way. If there is someone that has a problem with that then let he or she mind his or her business.
The real guy that will appreciate you will love you most when you are natural.
The guy that really loves you will appreciate the work my Father did on you.

TRADITIONS IN THE CHURCH
MARK 7: 1-13
Read bible passage at the bottom.

The Pharisees as usual tried to find another fault in what Jesus and H is disciples were doing but Jesus ceased the opportunity to tell them of how useless their laws are.

Unfortunately, these things still happen in the church today. All sort of laws are being set by men of God in quotes and these laws are even now over shadowing the message of the cross.

Why don't we just look away from all these laws for now? If Jesus did not say it then why are we stressing our selves?
Jesus never set any law like "do not wear earrings, cover your head when praying etc."

I'm not saying these things are wrong but these are just traditions. The type Jesus was talking about in the passage above. These things are not what will take us to heaven so why are we giving so much attention to them?
Do it if you think it's right but don't crucify another person for not doing it. Don't make them laws in the church.

What matters most is the Holy spirit. Preach salvation and get people filled with the Holy spirit and they will obey what ever He tells them to do.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I now understand that what matters most to you is my heart.
I ask that you purify my heart and fill me afresh with your spirit so I can do your will.
Help me not to crucify others simply because of traditions.
Thank You Lord.
In Jesus' Name I Pray.

 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’[b] and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’[c]

 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban[d] , that is to say, given to God”;’

 then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,

 making void the word of God by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this
